The project mainly comprises the construction of an interchange with four viaducts near Kiu Tau, Fanling for the connecting road to the Boundary Control Point, widening of portion of the existing Fanling Highway of about 1 km long near the interchange, demolition of the existing Kiu Tau Vehicular Bridge, re-provisioning of the existing Kiu Tau Footbridge, realignment of the existing Tai Wo Service Road West and Tai Wo Service Road East, and associated waterworks, slope, drainage, sewerage, and landscaping works.
