Chun Wo Safe Zone

We are devoted to providing our staff with a safe and healthy working environment.

In 2020, we established a training centre named “Chun Wo Safe Zone”, a place for our frontline staff to attend safety courses. The centre aims to enhance worker's safety awareness and improve their on-site safety behaviour through immersive, hands-on learning experiences using somatosensory devices and real-life scenario simulations, thereby reducing the likelihood of accidents.

Unlike the Mandatory Basic Safety Training Course (commonly known as the Green Card Training Course), the safety course focuses on “Behavioral Change Safety Training”. Participants engage in somatosensory-based exercises that require them to wear actual safety equipment - such as safety helmets and full- body safety harnesses - to perform practical training.

The training centre is divided into four major zones: “Fall of Person”, “Falling Object”, “Struck by Moving Plant” and “Electrocution”. These zones represent the most common types of construction site accidents and serve as realistic setups to help our frontline staff strengthen their awareness and preparedness.
