Chun Wo was founded in 1968, initially engaging in the construction business. In 1993, it was listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under the name of “Chun Wo Holdings Company Limited”. As its business scope expanded to include construction, property development and property management, the Company changed its name to “Chun Wo Development Holdings Limited” in November 2007 to better reflect the development of a more diversified business.
After years of intense effort and rapid development, Chun Wo has become a reputable construction specialist, as well as a property management and development enterprise in Hong Kong. The Group has substantially restructured the Company’s shareholding structure since 2014. “China New Way Investment Limited” (“China New Way”) in which China New Way would become the major shareholder and financial investor of the Group. A year later, China New Way utilized its shareholder platform to successfully bring in “China City Construction Holding Group Company” (“CCCC”) as the Group’s strategic shareholder. In 2016, Huinong Fund International Investment Limited, became the controlling shareholder of CCCC as it sought to further strengthen the Group's financial strength and expand the Group’s business scope in China and overseas by employing the Group’s strategic goal of "Entering China, and Going Global", which leverages the Group’s network and resources in China.
