建造钻石山至启德隧道，从新启德站延伸至完成升级工程的钻石山站，是港铁沙中线的一部分，包含长达八百五十米的双隧道，附有交叉通道，位于旧启德国际机场位置，使用直径七点四米的地压平衡式（EPB）全断面隧道钻掘机（TBM）建造，并使用钢纤维增强混凝土分段铺上混凝土衬层，令成品更耐久。另以创新“由下而上”的明挖回填方式建造紧急通道结构作为后备设计
