The project includes a 0.88km effluent tunnel to be connected by a 95m deep Drop Shaft at the east end and a 95m deep Riser Shaft at the west end. Associated structures are Flow Distribution Chambers, Entry Culvert, Overflow Culvert, De-chlorination Plant, modification works to Disinfection Facilities and completion of 48 works. There are also underground utilities and drainage diversions, access roads and soft landscaping works.
