The major Permanent Works comprise the following: (a) New KAI and associated Entrances A, B & D, adits, and ventilation facilities as well as ABWF; (b) Sung Wong Toi Emergency Egress Point (SUA) and the associated adit and entrance; (c) Trackwork access shafts for each tunnel; (d) Northbound and southbound Cut-&-Cover running tunnels between KAT and interface boundary with Contract 1109; (e) Northbound and southbound mined running tunnels under Former Kowloon City Piers (FKCP) buffer zone; (f) Northbound and southbound Cut-&-Cover running tunnels between KAT and interface boundary with Contract 1107; (g) Supply and installations of brackets, including fixings built into structures including the items to be supplied or designed by others and miscellaneous provisions for E&M works for including, among others, lighting, signage, traffic controls, landscaping; (h) Tree felling, tree compensation works and landscape works; (i) Cast-in items for Building Services works; (j) Interface requirement associated with Designated and Interfacing Contracts; (k) Civil provisions in stations, entrances, tunnels, shafts and adits for installation of equipment and services by Designated and Interfacing Contracts; (l) Provisions of utilities between the existing networks and KAT;
