Chun Wo is an expert in railway and trackworks installation with extensive experience and expertise in large-scale railway and trackworks projects. We have participated in specialised and high technology railway and tracking installation, such as floating slab track, low vibration track, ballasted track etc. We are well equipped with advanced plant and equipments including slipform pavers for derailment upstand construction, floating slab laying gantries and gantry portals for loading works trains, locomotives, rail-mounted cranes and containerised wagons.
Chun Wo has completed various trackwork projects in Hong Kong and overseas, including the KCRC West Rail and Ma On Shan Rail as well as rail tracks in an international theme park in Lantau Island. The Group has completed an overseas project in Taiwan. A high-speed trackworks project of 36km track-meter was completed in 2005, using the RHEDA Trackwork System from Germany, covering the plain tracks and special tracks of all stations along the railway line from Kaohsiung to Taipei. Our experience in the trackworks projects enables us to broaden the business towards other Asian countries.
